As of March 2020, I am exclusively providing therapy through virtual means. You will receive an invite to a Google Meet appointment with an easily clickable link for a HIPAA-compliant video session.
I am currently accepting new referrals in the afternoons and early evenings and seeing children, adolescents, and adults at this time.
I offer a steep sliding scale based on what you/your family is able to afford.
I do not take insurance, but will provide you with receipts that include all of the information necessary to submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement. It is recommended you check with your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement rates.
The following codes are most typically billed:
90791 - initial intake/consultation appointment
90834 - individual appointment (45 min.)
90847 - family therapy appointment with client present
90846 - family therapy appointment without client present
My provider information is as follows:
Practice Name: Small Steps Psychology
Practice EIN: 85-2842304
Practice NPI: 1659985083
Provider Name: Linda Kudla, Psy.D.
NYS License: 023300
Child and adolescent therapy is often preceded with a parent/caregiver intake appointment, which is 60 minutes and a slightly higher rate than individual sessions.
Subsequent therapy usually includes caregiver involvement, which can range from 10-minute check-ins to full session involvement, depending on need.
Adult therapy also includes a 60-minute intake appointment prior to individual sessions.
Goals are discussed in the first few appointments and are collaborative in nature. I am not interested in working on areas that you do not find to be important to you and/or your child. You are the expert on you/your family, and it is my role to follow your lead.
