Our Story

Drinkapedia originated from a dialogue between Voltaire and myself, contemplating our future and what we envisioned for it. This discussion was not merely about entrepreneurial pursuits; it was deeply rooted in a commitment to animal conservation. Our ambition was driven by the desire to shine a light on the critical issue of endangered species, particularly those not receiving the attention they desperately need. While mainstream conservation efforts often focus on iconic species such as elephants, rhinos, and pandas, we felt a strong calling to advocate for the less noticed yet critically endangered species, such as the Vaquita and the Amsterdam Albatross. Our aim is to provide these animals with a voice and a fighting chance for survival.

Our journey into Drinkapedia was further inspired by Voltaire's personal transformation through a ketogenic diet, leading to significant weight loss and a healthier lifestyle. This personal achievement demonstrated the profound impact of diet and wellness, principles that became integral to Drinkapedia. My discovery of the excessive sugar content, 35 grams to be exact, in my favorite matcha latte led us to create a healthier, keto-friendly version. This innovation sparked the idea of crafting functional beverages that not only offer health benefits but also contribute to our larger mission of conservation.

We established Drinkapedia on three foundational criteria: the beverage must reflect the color of the endangered animal it represents; the animal must be classified as endangered, threatened, or critically endangered; and the drink’s benefits should align with the animal’s characteristics. This approach allowed us to create a unique and meaningful product line that raises awareness for these lesser-known species.

Our commitment to making a difference extends beyond our products. We are now collaborating with remarkable individuals and organizations who are leaders in both research and the development of initiatives that aid governments in making informed decisions for wildlife conservation. Witnessing the positive impact of these projects on animal populations brings us immense joy and satisfaction.
