The purpose of the text set is to provide rich, robust and differentiated materials that meet the diverse learning needs of students in a diverse manner. The desired outcome of every text set is that all students can access the content in the anchor text and demonstrate successful understanding of the key learning objectives

Students come with different learning styles and readiness in the classroom and using data not only provides different ways to group them instructionally in order to meet their needs, it also drives the teachers' instruction to help increase students' learning and achievement.

Using the anchor text provides the opportunity to differentiate deeply around key learning objectives that support the outcome of the texts.
