Before the project could officially begin, I had to develop a project proposal. In which I decided to do SSUSH12 to Evaluate how westward expansion impacted the Plain Indians and fulfilled Manifest Destiny. Based off previous PBL or individual projects I've learned that the project proposals are important because it sets and organize blueprint of how your able to execute your mini class presentations and brainstorm ideas.

My discover question is... How did westward expansion impact the Plain Indians and the creation of barriers for transcontinental railroads? I would have to look into how Native Americans were being affected during the time, and with this new invention what came about after its time.

In this project I propose to create kwl and a poetry slam, i chose this because it's gives me and my audience a clear representation of how and what information they need to look into the most, and what is to be expected through out the lesson.
