AP Human Geography

AP Human Geography was my first ever Advanced Placement Class. Mr. Bennett taught us well and had us do many projects that involved culture and reaching further out into the world. One project we did was called the Mind Map. A Mind Map is a drawn out diagram used to convey what something is with Ideas. Here, we did who we were and what made us.

I put many features and aspects of my life onto this poster. The reason I put the hawks on the top was because I thought drawing a hawks logo on a basketball goal would fit better than a skyline. A common question I get is "what is the hand for?". The hand is dropping seeds is my representation of farming and growing food. Both of my grandmothers grow food of their own and one owns an entire farm.
