Harp

Taylor Jordan-Jones is currently a 10th grader attending Drew Charter School. Taylor has been playing the harp for 4 years and joined the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble in 7th grade. She has played the harp at many different places such as churches, school concerts, and breakfast with the board. Outside of harp, Taylor likes to watch romcoms, babysit, and do karaoke. She also likes to spend time with her friends and family. A year ago, Taylor was selected for a scholarship and had to interview for it. She ended up passing the interview and received the scholarship from the REACH Georgia Program. She also participates in doing community service for the Achievers Mentor Program. Taylor enjoys playing the harp because it gives her a sense of peace and freedom. It makes her feel as if she’s come a long way in her playing and has developed as a harpist. When Taylor graduates, she plans to study Nursing/Health Science at either Howard University, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, or Tuskegee University.
