For my final in geometry, I collaborated with Judah Scott to create a piece of painted stained glass. I did this by using geometric shapes and placing them together to create a piece. I didn't have an inspiration for my design. When I sketched it out, I just placed the shapes next to each other wherever I thought looked good. The elements of art I used to create my design were shape, color, and line. The principles of design I used were proportion, repetition, and variety. Our project connected to what we are learning about proofs because we had multiple congruent angles and shapes. We had to prove the shapes were congruent by using those said proofs. I had to make sure that the consecutive angles were supplementary and other shapes had the right measurements for them to be parallel.Â
