I did my presentation on Clarssa Sligh. She is known for her innovative approach to storytelling through visual mediums, Sligh's art often delves into themes of identity, memory, and social justice. As a photographer, writer, and book artist, she masterfully combines images and text to provoke thought and evoke emotion in her audience.

Abstraction employs visual elements such as shape, form, and size to generate art that diverges from realistic representation. Abstract art, as exemplified by artists like Picasso, enables creators to express themselves through unconventional forms. In contrast, Native American abstract art often incorporates vibrant colors and motifs depicting aspects of their culture, including people, animals, and landscapes.

What is art?
Art to me is something that can be described and expressed in several different ways to communicate ideas and emotions through visualization. Art can help other subjects in learning way like crafting models to help students understand how to work on that subject.

We had to do different experiments to put it all together

I feel like the most successful one is the second slide I like how the heart isn’t in the middle but more off to the side and how the line is the center of the slide.

Borax is a salt, a hydrated or anhydrous borate of sodium.Borax is a compound consisting of an elementary substance called boron, united with oxygen and soda. I used hot water to disolve the borax. It becomes a crystal. My 3D sculpture is dynamic because the crystals show all the sizes and shapes. It is supersaturated because when the water is hot it is able to mix with the borax and when it cools down it can't mix any more so it crystallizes.

People started using abstract art by making shapes their own and express how they feel. Different cultures can uses abstraction to express their culture. Abstract work can be used in geometry because geometry uses shapes and in the shape you could make an abstract design. For science it can be used to show the diagrams in science like show versions of atoms. Abrstract art can be used to show data because it can show what was there at that time like showing how many people were there that day. I would like to work in ways that I can express my self because that is easier for me because I can't draw.

Mandala Research
A mandala is used as a map representing deities, or especially in the case of Shinto. They are related to world civilizations because they serve as a representation of the universe and a guide on the path to enlightenment. Some of the principle designs I see are pattern and rhythm.You can use a mandala to show an atom by useing the mandala to show how many protons, nuetrons, and electrons are in an atom
The things I've learned about art this year that relates to other classes is how you can make a mandala with art and the relates to history
The things ive done this year that show the principles of design and elemnts of art is the madalas with color.
A way I can experiment with different possibilities in my planning and process is sketching what I want to make.
I learned what a mandala is and that they are used for religious reasons.
