Summarization of my 10th Grade Year
This year's project was the Guernica Project, in which students in CHEMVAS painted a portion of Piccasso's 'Guernica' to represent a social cause of our choice. My group chose Abortion Laws. We believe abortion is a non-negotiable right, and should be protected as such. Our piece displays the horrors of being forcd to give birth against your will, and the consequences of it. On the left is a woman giving birth, with the baby below representing a politician. The politician is attempting to control the woman from the inside, also representing the feeling of despair that women go through. The classes involved in this project were Art, World Lit, and Chemistry.
