Our group recorded a live video of two anthropologists discussing the different components and functions of the skeletal system using a live model.
This was a group presentation of 4 individuals joining together to describe the functions of the skeletal system and the purpose of each bone. We will be doing a video presentation of two osteologists describing the functions of the bones and their functions.
The skeletal system works as a support structure for your body. It gives the body its shape, allows movement, makes blood cells, provides protection for organs, and stores minerals. The skeletal system is also called the musculoskeletal system.
The skeletal system is the body system composed of bones and cartilage and performs the following critical functions for the human body:
supports the body.
facilitates movement.
protects internal organs.
produces blood cells.
stores and releases minerals and fat.
Our group's first idea was to do a representation of the skeletal system using a styrofoam cutout and labeling the different parts of the system. We decided to go with a more interactive route. We are going to be doing a live video explaining the different parts of the system using a member of our group in a skeleton costume, and the members of the group will identify the different bones and its function.
