Throughout this PBL unit scholars engaged in the design process to develop a product that promotes environmental awareness of and sustainable practices for bees. 

Students tapped into each phase of the design process, from beginning to end by defining and researching the problem; developing an idea; creating a prototype; and testing and evaluating their thinking.  This entailed understanding cause & effect; learning the value of money; surveying the community; writing a business pitch, creating and branding a swag product, and facilitating a live business fair to showcase these products.
