I cut out two pieces of wood for my group to practice
I practiced cutting a piece of wood and it was a harder cut
Do's Don't

Wrap hair up Go back with wood
Clean area after use Leave on bandsaw
You use the Bandsaw by turning it on and sliding the wood through the bandsaw at a moderate rate.
Do's Don'ts
Wear Safety Goggles Leave planner saw on
Turn planner saw off when not in use Horse play
Clean up after your done Put finger by planner saw
Wear ear protection Leave area messy
You use the planner saw by turning it on and placing the wood by the planner saw letting it slide through by it's self.
I shaved off the wood using the planner saw making it smoother.
I shaved off the wood using the planner saw making it smoother.
Do's Don'tsÂ
Wear safety goggles Manually move the blade guard
Vacuum after use Saw when cord is out of place
Unplug after use Cut pieces that are to short
Reduce Blade exposure Measure while sawing
A miter saw is used to cut across a wood's length. This is called a cross cut
After using the Miter Saw, I glued the pieces together and used clamps to secure them.
I used the miter saw to even out the wood pieces that are glued together
Do's Don'ts
Wear safety goggles Use sander without teachers permissionÂ
Keep sander in motion Place sander on skin
Keep hand away from sander  Place sander on surfaces it canÂ
damage
An orbital sander is used to smoothen wooden surfaces. You can use them to prepare for staining and to perfect edges that aren't lined up.
I sanded this piece of wood using the orbital sander.
A material called vinyl was made into a stencil using a circuit machine. To cut the stencil, I used a box cutter knife. Next, I placed the stencil onto the cardboard and spray painted it.
Using measurements I cut wood to make 2 sides and a celling.
Do's
Choose the correct file to print
Remember to name your file
Save file to SD card
Let the teacher know if your printing
Don'ts
Mess with 3D printer while it's printing
Have it print over 2 hour
I sketched this shape by drawing a horizon line and making my shape then connecting the corners to the horizion line then connect the corner to the opposite corners.
I cut out cardboard pieces to make a prototype of my sketch and tapped them together to make it.
I sketched out smaller 2d shapes that fit into my 3d shape to cut out for my cardboard prototype
I made a design using tinkercad then used a 3d printer to make it.
What to do:
Wear apron and gloves
Carefully dip rag in wood stain
Hammer lid after use
What not to do:
Use wood stain without table protection
Unevenly apply stain
Incorrectly use screw driver to open
This was after the spray paint. We had to peel out our name and spray paint the paper on cardboard.
I peeled my name off red sticky paper and put it on my box and spray painted it with black paint.
I used a laser cutter to cut out cardboard for my prototype and taped them together to make my shape.
I used the wood stain to stain my wood and I used multiple layers to make it look better.
4/17/2023 Today in class we learned of our nexxt project. We wil make DIY Wooden Coasters out of scraps of wood. Some of the important power tools we will use are the following.

Table Saw
Orbital Sander
Floor Drill Press
Do's Don'ts
Wear Safety Goggles Leave planner saw on
Turn planner saw off when not in use Horse play
Clean up after your done Put finger by planner saw
Wear ear protection Leave area messy
The planner saw shaves and smooths off wood.
This is a drawn out sketch of how I want my coaster designed it includes measurements and the different types of wood I want included in the coaster. The coaster is 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 with 5 3/4 stripes of pine and walnut wood.
