The video to the left is a project my group completed, which combines an original guitar backtrack and interpretive reading of an Emily Dickinson poem. The poem, I dwell in possibilities, centers around themes of poetry in relation to life, or living in poem/poetic world. The poem discusses that prose is regular writing and it’s compared to poetry in order to say that she lives in a world of poetry. Windows and doors refer to the possibilities for writing and topics. The cap or limits on poetry are the sky itself.
