Shaping Our World
This is our final video and its about Ancient Egypt when Remusus II was prompted king, while he's at war and the people that betrayed him.
This project helped me see connections between Ancient Egypt and today’s society, such as government and technology. I enjoyed the project and learned how narrative story writing uses details and events to make history more interesting. I learned that Ancient Egypt was an advanced civilization with pyramids, and strong beliefs about who their leader is. If I could improve this project, I would add more creativity, pictures, or time to research.
Geometry- Re-Shaping Our World
In geometry we found a community in Atlanta and reshaped to make it better by looking at their problems. My group re-designed Vine City. Vine city faces many problems like air quality, poverty and income, and crime. We came up with ideas that can fixed those problems like for poverty and income we could use the Historic Westside TAD (Tax Allocation District) and Westside Future Fund. This can help invests in affordable housing, economic mobility, and job training. Also it supports local entrepreneurs and workforce development. For the air quality situation we said local health centers within and near Vine City provide vital health services related to respiratory issues and environmental health. These institutions often collaborate with community leaders to address the impacts of poor air quality on residents. Also Vine City has several parks and green areas that serve as natural air filters, helping to reduce pollution and provide residents with cleaner outdoor spaces for recreation and relaxation.
