This is my title page. It was remade many times during the process before I decided on this current design. Because of that You can even see some of the old design in the title page.
What was the intended function of your box and how does the design contribute to the function.
The function is to hold things that are thin, such as pencils. Because the box is long, it can hold these things. It can hold many pencils to take up less space. The long shape helps to hold things, and the height is helpful.
Describe one thing you are most proud of about the box itself. I am proud of the colors and the stripes on the box.
Describe one thing about your physical box you would improve on if you could do it again. I would redo the knob to make it easier to glue onto the lid.
What is one challenge you faced while doing this project that you were able to overcome and how did you overcome it? It was difficult to fit the top onto the box, so I had to sand it down a lot.
What is one skill that you learned so well in this project that you would feel comfortable teaching it to another student? I learned how to use the bandsaw well enough that I could teach another student.
Even though everyone ended with their own project, how did teamwork/collaboration play a role in this project? Certain people with more experience, like Ms. Abdul, Ben, and Seku, helped a lot, and just being able to talk with my friends made the project more fun for me.
We are making a cornhole board. We will be presenting them at "Space Is The New Place 2026"
Our boards needed at least two electronic components.
The game still has to be a "Bag Toss". It must be playable at night.
Infinity Mirror
In this project I will create a infinity mirror. To do this I will have to code LEDs and 3d print.
Our mirror must be freestanding or hanging on a wall. We must code multiple electronics.
We have to use the full engineering design process. We also have to show understanding of the physics that make up the mirror.
I built a simple prototype for my infinity mirror. To do this I had to cut out acrylic pieces and apply a mirror film. Then, I had to assemble all of the 3d printed pieces together as well as coding the neopixel.

Using my neopixel, I created 5 different patterns for my infinity mirror. After that I put it into my prototype and saw the complete infinity illusion.
