After reading the book, Just Mercy, in Ap language we were task with finding a topic to research on Social Justice and Civic Engagement. My topic was Human trafficking especially in Atlanta. My research focused on how how trafficking affects communities and ways that people can see the signs before it's too late. The project required an art piece of some sort. For my project I did a sorta podcast video to help victims get their stories heard. I also made a website that holds all my information and sources.

For this project we was told to chose a topic to inform teenagers of a problem that deals with invasive species. My topic was about trophy hunting and how it's very harmful to not only the animals but to the environment. My group and I created questions and went around the school to get answers.

In order to be in an Ap class at Drew. You are required to the summer assignment in order to stay in class. For the assignment, I was to summarize the book and then make dialectical journals based on the quotes I picked from the book.
