What does it mean to volunteer?  Why would Drew require you volunteer for 100 hours during your high school career?  

Volunteering means freely offering your time, effort, and skills to help others or support a cause without expecting payment. I believe that Drew requires students to complete 100 hours of volunteer work during high school to encourage community engagement, build character, and develop essential life skills like communication, leadership, and teamwork. Volunteering helps students connect with their community, understand the value of giving back, and become more empathetic and open-minded by interacting with people from different backgrounds.
