I joined the Esports team during my 12th-grade year. On this team, I played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and I mained Cloud. My trio was composed of myself, Darion, and Akil and we were the only trio on the team to make it to the playoffs. Although we lost our second playoff game, I loved being a part of the Esports team because gaming is one of my biggest loves, and I was one of the ones to help kick-start the team. In 10th grade, Esports was offered as a class to try and see whether it could grow into a sport in the future. In this class, we learned about the gaming industry, streaming, how games are created, and how to build computers. I am very thankful to be on the original esports team, and hope to continue to do Esports at Georgia State.
