This piece is called 'The Sparrows Are playing hide and seek Among the tea flowers by Susann McDonald and and Linda Wood'. Its a haiku for the harp in which we used various techniques and combined them together. This piece was challenging because we had to figure out which haikus went together so we could all play different ones in a cohesive way. My favorite technique  from the piece was using the fingertips of our hands on the soundboard to sound like rain. I think playing haikus on the harp are useful to get insight into different techniques.

This piece is called 'Sacred Music at night; Into the bonfires Flutter the tinted leaves.' M favorite technique from this piece was putting the paper in between the strings and doing glissandos, it makes it much louder and I like how it can make a very gentle instrument sound more rough. I think the final piece reflects it well in the end because we're outside in nature and I fell it matches the ambiance. The most fun thing we did with this piece was using the pencils and rods to make different sounds.
