In this activity, I got into a group and we were tasked with creating a structure to support large books. Our only supplies were gumdrops and toothpicks. My group used the supplies to create triangles, then a hexagon of those triangles. Our structure was short and strong. This project consists of art and math.

In this project, I chose water pollution and environmental destruction as my social isssues. My main ideas were cubes representing the difference in water purity between human populations and animal populations, as well as air quality represented by rectangular prisms.
