I run Track and Cross Country to keep myself active and in shape and I will keep running for the rest of High School. I started Cross Country and Track my freshmen year and I want keep running because I want to be active in sports at school and get senior posters.
9th Grade Year
9th grade year, this was my first year doing school sports, I've played other sports like basketball so I was kind of conditioned. Practicing definitely showed me what I was lacking and ow unconditioned I was. I ran a 27.5 in the 200 and 13.2 in the 100. For XC, I ran a 26:45.7 as my pr. I made it to regionals in the 4x1 and had a great season.
10th Grade Year
10th grade year, I ran a 26.3 in the 200 and a 12.0 in the 100 and when I ran Cross Country I ran a 24:6.7as my new pr. I didn't make it to regionals this year but I did have a better season than last year because I ran more events and went to more meets.
