In these pictures, we were making mud bricks and creating bamboo structures. I was a part of making the mud bricks which consisted of mud being mushed together to the right consistency. This made the mud easier to mold into a brick-like shape. In the other picture, others were tasked with the project of making bamboo structures. This was to show how housing was made in ancient civilizations.
The epic element PBL is a PBL where we will have to write an epic on a noble person. We have to make sure that we incorporate the 7 qualities that the character in the epic has to have. Also the 6 elements of the actual storyline. For my PBL I have the idea of writing a story on a young princess who was born with telepathic abilities. While having these powers she has to conquer a spirit/person that wants her power but wins the first battle. The second battle is when the spirit gets done away with by the princess. In World history, we were using the ancient civilization to show what it was like.
The Columbian exchange was the exchange of people, disease, foods, animals, and religion. This exchange was a not a willing trade it was by force. Our project related to the Columbian exchange because we showed what food items was around at the time to cook with. We were separated into western and eastern hemispheres. The Western side was the New World and the Old World was the Eastern side. It helped me understand what was exchanged and where it was coming from.
