Welcome to our website! Each kindergartner has displayed empathy and compassion by working on this project. Through inquiry, our kindergartners learned that people work to make money and help the community. They explored ways to use their unique talents to positively impact others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are laying the foundation for social justice topics that Drew students will continue to explore as they matriculate through our school. We explored empathy in our Quarter 1 Toys and Play Project. This quarter, we continued to build upon this idea in a meaningful and age-appropriate way for our kinders: designing an innovative good or service that could help others during this pandemic!
Entry Event: NO SNACK DAY at home! Students were made to believe that they had “no snack”, therefore had to come up with solutions in order to purchase their own snack.
