This project was about choosing a car that I would like to have. First, I picked the car I wanted. Then I looked up information about the car, including the model and other details. After that, I did some math to figure out the monthly payments and how much maintenance might cost. This project helped me learn more about cars and how much they can cost over time
This project was about designing a house that we would like to live in. First, we chose the type of house we wanted. Then we decided how big the house would be and how long it would be. We also planned how many bedrooms and bathrooms the house would have. This project helped us think about how houses are designed and how to plan the space inside a home.
The immune system protects your body from germs like bacteria and viruses. Its job is to find things that do not belong in your body and destroy them. It also remembers past infections so it can fight them faster next time.
The first line of defense is your skin and body fluids like mucus and tears. These stop germs from getting into your body. The second line of defense includes white blood cells, inflammation, and fever, which attack germs quickly. The third line of defense uses special cells that target specific germs and remember them for the future.
Neutrophils attack and destroy bacteria first. Lymphocytes help by making antibodies and killing infected cells. Monocytes turn into macrophages and clean up germs. Eosinophils fight parasites and help with allergies. Basophils release chemicals during allergic reactions. Macrophages eat germs and help alert other cells. Dendritic cells show germs to other immune cells to start a response. Natural killer cells destroy infected or cancer cells. Mast cells help cause inflammation and allergic reactions.
