In Math, we had a project where we were asked to to make an Interactive Notebook. In the notebook, we are required to : write notes, glue down work, and other class work.
Recently, in Literature we had to write an essay about a book we read. The essay had to be six paragraphs. In the essay, we wrote about how the main character matured from a timid little girl to a brave young woman. We also completed another project recently. This project was we had to read a short story and write a summary. The assignment in general wasn’t hard, but the story was interesting. It was about a hunter who is stranded on an island where humans are hunted instead of animals. The man must survive for a week, then he will be released from the island.
Recently, we completed a project for Physics explaining one of the many labs we've completed. Another activity we did recently, was a lab on Distance and Displacement. We used toy cars and long metal ramps to complete this lab. Basically, we had to measure the distance the car traveled. We also had to measure the desplacement of the vehicle. Our project was about Spring Forces. We chose this topic because it was a lab we enjoyed. We had to measure the distance a spring stretched once a weight was hung from the bottom of it.
Recently, we just completed a very large project in Engineering. We had to build a corn hole board. The pieces for the board had to be cut. Then, that had to be sanded. After that, I built the board. Once I was done building, we had to paint an image of some type of music. Finally, we had to add light to the board and a sensor, so when the bean bag lands on the board or goes in the hole the lights blink.
Recently, we made a video game. The game was supposed to be about certain topics we were given randomly covering GeoTech. My project was about a country in the midst of a war. Although, we weren't actually fighting. Our country, "Badi Dadi", was asked to trade with an enemy of our allies. We had to travel across a dangerous ocean, then a treacherous jungle.

Earlier in the semester we had to create any Latin originated dish. I made salsa. I used an assortment of ingredients that are essential to an authentic delicious salsa.
In Lifetime Sports and Int Rec Games we've played a lot of games over the year. My favorite game so far was mat ball. Mat ball is a version of kickball, but a couple key factors are different. First, the runner can run any direction they choose after they kick a fair ball. Also, the amount of people on one base has no limit. An entire team can be on one base.
