This is my artist statement for my book. It is basically and explanation of the sound effects and art I created for my groups book. These sounds were later used in the final product of the video. However I do not have the pictures that I drew anymore so I am not able to place them in this portfolio.
In APWH we had a North- South Hemisphere cook off. In this challenge we had to create a dish with materials from the east or South. We didn't know what side we were going to be on. It was randomly selected by Ms Cain the day of. She had us bring in food for the North or South. I was on the Southern Hemisphere. We didn't have much but we made the best meal we could with the stuff. The Northern Hemisphere was a powerhouse in trade.
This is an example of how one of our Algebra 2 posters would look for our functions. We had to describe a function, redraw it and describe the key features of the function. We also had to record a description of our function. My function was fairly easy. However I do not have a picture of this poster but my partner Keshawn does.
This is an image from my Tribal project in Ms Mayes Class. We had to create a own unique tribe. In my group I was responsible for making the art piece. This is the deity over nature that our tribe makes sacrifices for. These sacrifices are made every year, once a year, at the end of the year. This keeps the tribe from having bad luck. And allows the tribe to continue to have good fortune.
This is my textile art experiences. Every textile art project i completed is in these slides. These various projects were easy to do mostly. However these projects required time and patience.
