Goals
My goals are to learn about different people and how their brains work. As someone who is neurodivergent, I became interested in how the brain works. As much as I love learning about how others think, learning more about myself is a big goal of mine.
My name is Harmoni Curry. I am a senior at Charles R. Drew Charter School. I have been attending since the 9th grade and have loved it ever since! I'm the president of the Orchestra, Vice-president of Mu Alpha theta , Manager of the volleyball and more! I currently work at AMC Theaters where I met a lot of different people who love film! I'm going to Brandeis University in the fall, and I will be majoring in Biology and Neuroscience and minoring in Film.
I love spending time with my friends. they made drew home for me and they helped me figure out who I was while supporting me.
I love playing soccer because it makes me feel at peace.

I have had the privilege of receiving a full-tuition scholarship to Brandeis University from the Posse Foundation. The foundation creates a "posse" of students to learn together in college, to aid us in navigating our post-secondary school life. My posse is very loving and caring, and I am excited to explore my next steps with them!

The whole reason I was inspired to become a doctor in general was because of my family. There arent a lot of doctors in my family but the ones that are they gave me many opportunities to be a part it and learn my love for it. For example, my uncle gave me My first job at the age of 15 at his dentistry as a receptionist and just seeing him work and talking to different people really made me realize that this is my future.
