The Neolithic Revolution birthed good things like ideas, tools, and civilizations. Early people thrived during these times.  However, with the creation of 

Knapping is one example of early Neolithic inventions. Knapping is the act of rubbing two stones together. This created fire. Early people used fire to cook their meat. Another example is tools. During the Neolithic era, early people built tools to help with their everyday tasks like hunting and gathering. Tools improved the efficiency of the early people.

Centralized governments are governments where one seat of power holds all of the executive power. Multiple divisions of decentralized governments share powers. An example of a decentralized government is the U.S. government. Instead of one person being in power, we have three branches with equal power to design our laws and decisions.

Six significant terms every AP World History student remembers are; codification, the writing of laws and rules; social stratification, the categorization of people into social classes;  syncretism, the merging of two or more religions; the paleolithic era, the time period before the Neolithic revolution; diaspora, the spread of something; and sedentary, a characteristic to describe settling down.
