If you had to get rid of one of your sense, which one would it be?

I would choose to lose my sense of taste because it seems to be the least necessary for quality of life. The only downside of losing taste is that you lose the ability to enjoy good food. This compared to the loss of any of the others is minscule.

Code HS Square

During this code segment in CodeHS I had to try and create a function in which we printed out a function that squares the parameter or variable placed in the parenthesis. I utilized the for i loop funciton and it was the most promenant part of this code segment.

Ap Comp Sci 10/23/2023

Daily Goal: I can learn to define functions that take in multiple parameters as input, and use print statements for output.

Code explanation: In this code I had to use functions in order to convert height from feet and inches into meter. I used conversion metrics and plugged in the given values in order to get the desired output.

3 Takeaways from E-Sports 11/14/2023

Despite thinking this class was going to be all about playing video games and having fun, I had picked up quite a few things that might come in useful in the future. Firstly I've learned the different career paths that go into making video games and the different aspects that are needed to produce the video games. I've also learned the basics of how to stream video games in which I could possibly profit from. Lastly, and most obviously I have learned mechanics of different games and inporoved in those as well

Pros/Cons of PC Gaming

Pros: No subscription service for online play, higher graphic customization, more peripheral options

Cons: Tends to be more expensive, Harder to learn, more applications needed

Frames per second (FPS) is the amount of frames of an image that a display shows every second. Typically the more fps a display has the smoother it appears when there is lots of motion within a scene. Hz are the amount of frames per second a monitor can display. The input device's frames per second can only show to its full potential with a monitor that has the same amount of hz or more.

E-Sports and the Law

-One major takeaway is that behind some of the most popular game developers there were tons of discrimination

-I believe that it became toxic for it's employees when they became complacent with discrimination and harassment

-If I was CEO I would hire specially trained managers tasked with preventing inequality in the workplace on all levels, as well as set up more enforcements

1.) You can become a Twitch affiliate by reaching 50 followers, streaming for 8 hours, streaming on 7 different days, and averaging 3 concurrent viewers.

2.)You get access to subscription benefits and bits which are virtual currency

3.)You must stream for 25 hours on 12 different days over a 30-day period and average 75 viewers

4.)You get more access to ads and more control of when and how they show the ads. You also get a bigger portion of the revenue from ads, subscription, and bits.

In order to increase a Twitch following, the most important piece to the puzzle is to maintain a regular streaming schedule. This ensures that the viewers that regularly watch your content will know when to tune in. Another main strategy is to create an attractive layout theme in either your page and the background of your streams. This makes your stream more visually appealing making people more likely to stay on the streams for longer. Lastly another method is to interact with your community and your live chat in order to create an active community and keep everything immersive.

Compare+Contrast Muscle Types

The human body contains three different muscle types called the smooth muscle, Cardiac muscle, and Skeletal Muscle. The smooth muscle, unlike either of the other muscle types, lines the visceral muscles and only contain one nucleus per cell. Also unlike the other two muscle types it has no striations. The Cardiac muscle is the muscle group that makes up the heart. This muscle type does not fatigue and has an intermediate amount of mitochondria. Finally the Skeletal muscle group is responsible for voluntary movement in the body. It is made up of myosin and actin myofibrils at the smallest level, and those two fibers connecting and disconnecting are the very basis of voluntary movement in the human body. It is locate on the skin and bones and unlike any of the other groups, it doesn't have rhythmic contractions, it doesn't respond with the endocrine and nervous systems, and it fatigues.
