Drew Charter School has played a major role in shaping who I am today, both academically and personally. Having attended since Pre-K, I’ve grown within a community that has consistently pushed me to stay disciplined, take initiative, and prepare for life beyond high school. Through its strong academics and wide range of opportunities, I’ve been able to grow in ways that go far beyond the classroom.
As a student-athlete involved in track and field and cross country, I’ve learned the importance of consistency, mental toughness, and time management. Balancing sports with academics and extracurriculars like National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, DECA, and Red Cross Club has taught me how to stay organized and committed to my goals. Each experience has helped me build leadership skills, strengthen my work ethic, and become more confident in my abilities.
Being part of this community has also helped me grow as a person. I’ve learned the value of discipline, faith, and pushing myself even when things get challenging. The relationships I’ve built with teachers, teammates, and peers have supported my growth and motivated me to keep improving.
Overall, my time at Drew Charter School has prepared me not just for college, but for life. It has given me the tools, mindset, and determination to continue striving for success and to make a meaningful impact in whatever path I choose.
