Artists are a product of the culture and society in which they grew; and as such, they are influenced by the customs and norms of their society. 5 Types of Mandala in Art: Geometric mandala, architectural mandala, element mandala, flower mandala and letter mandala. The three types of mandalas are the sand mandala, the healing mandala, and the teaching mandala. Sand mandalas use crushed up pieces of colored stone, healing mandalas help calm the creator or viewer, and teaching mandalas are an important part of religious training in the Buddhist faith.

Art is a creative activity and technical skill. It produces a product, an object. Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, performing subjects, and expressing the author's thoughts. The product of art is called a work of art, for others to experience. Art is a creation that allows for interpretation or expression of emotions or is an expression of the life of any kind. Art is considered a human skill as opposed to nature, and skill applied to music, painting, poetry I believe that nature is an art as well.
