Christa Augustin is an 18-year-old harpist and is in 12th grade. She attends Drew Charter School and has been playing harp since 8th grade. When Christa was 8, she started taking piano lessons and when her father heard there was a harp teacher at Drew Charter School she quickly transitioned to the harp. Though she loves playing the harp she also is a huge fan of fantasy books, myths, and musicals. She loves playing melodies, hymns, and themes from shows and games. Christa also works partime at the YMCA East lake Branch Daycare In the fall she will attend Brandies University to study ethnobotany and entrepreneurship.

Christa is a part of the Urban Youth Harp Ensemble which is a highly selective program. She has played in multiple concerts, at Drew Charter School’s 2018-2019 8th Grade Promotional Ceremony, Charles Drew Charter Ted X, and the Servant Heart’s Award Banquet. Christa is a talented harpist and would love and be honored to play at your event.
