Myth Summary: In American Lit., we had been studying early forms of mythology and creation myths. We watched things like youtube videos and and read little excerpts. We them moved up to the study of American native mythology. We read things like " The world on a turtle's back" and "Coyote and the Whale".

After that we were tasked to create our own myth. We could explain the creation of whatever we wanted to however it came to be. We had to make art to go by it as well. I chose to create a myth of how shoes were to be created. I would make 3 paragraph essay on how shoes were created. So, I got to work.

I created characters such as Nathaniel and Zhu. I took heavy inspiration from Greek mythology stories. I also implemented the trials that are famous in Greek stories. My character needed to pass trials so he could become a demingod. I enjoyed the overall experience.
