In class, we studied states and we used the acronym SPEED to learn about issues in the states. SPEED represents social, political, economic, environmental, and demographics. By using the lens of SPEED we were able to gain more insight into issues that affected assigned states. we used Hummingbird Robotics to animate various elements related to SPEED.
The state I was assigned to was Alabama. For this project, we used various inputs like lights, and motors to make things light up and move on the map. To be specific, my group used inputs such as LED's, Tri LED's, and motors. Also, we used different pictures on the project to represent different things on our map. This project also addressed digital technology by coding with Hummingbird Robotics to make a picture move, or endorse it with lights.
