typography

This is my typography I loved makiing this piece .I am looking forward to this class because this is a new class and art is veryy fun . I know im going enjoy this class And Mr. Kurt is a good teacher

density paint pour

first i researched how i wanted to make my painting to look and made sure i had the colors i wanted . then i poured the blue in the middle then i aso put white all through out and after i used purple yellow and light blue . i also you used a straw to blow through it . i believe blue and purple was the most dense .

Ceramics

For this art piece, I wanted to make a cup which is something my favorite rapper uses and talks about a lot. when I came up with this idea I struggled at the begging with making the cup shape but after dr Kurt suggest I put it on a cup and did it that way things became much easier I did as well put the artist's name in the cup and I put a word he uses a lot on it. once it was bone dry I painted the whole thing white and the letters pink or back. one thing I could improve is how I made the cup. even though the cup came out looking like a cup there were still some parts that could have been improved

Art and chemistry can be related.Another project I can mention is the "water bottle project," which required students to come up with a distinctive water bottle design.

In order to do this, we had to determine the design's dimensions and create a kind of blueprint for it.This project helped me see the benefits of STEAM because it incorporated art, math, and engineering.

Deeply Rooted was a whole grade level project for 2nd quarter, which sought to answer how symbols can reflect cultural differences and similarities. We researched the use of symbols around the world and came up with our own symbols that reflect our modern lives. In Art class we created hand made paper and Borax crystals which we used to make symbols. I chose to make ____, which symbolizes how _. Bending the paper was difficult and next time I would like to make it bigger and possibly add more color contrast to make it noticeable int the PBL. On the day of the showcase, our work was featured alongside performances representing cultures around the world.
