Description

Create a robot diorama based on the play Romeo and Juliet.

Students will analyze a selection from Romeo and Juliet and decide how to use art and symbolism to express their understanding of the play.
Students will work in a group to design, build, and program a robotic diorama that represents their assigned selection. Subject covers art, engineering, ela, and technology.

Students will create or label a world map showing the MAJOR agricultural regions. Requirements

Label all continents (7) and oceans(5)
Label 3 agricultural regions
Use LED Lights (3) to distinguish each region. Lights must be installed and programmed.
Map must include a legend and title. Must also be colorful and creative.
Must have a venn diagram comparing and contrast Subsistence Agriculture and Commercial Agriculture.
Create a compass rose using cardboard and dial sensor
Must have dial sensor installed and programmed

One Starr, Two Worlds: Art Assignment

In this activity, students will visually represent Starr Carter's

two worlds—her life in Garden Heights and her experiences at Williamson

Prep—through a split-screen art piece. This task will encourage students to

explore the contrasts in Starr's identity, environment, and voice. This assignment consists of ELA and Art.
