Eli Rosenblatt is the Wallerstein Assistant Professor of Jewish Studies and Director of the Jewish Studies Program at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.
Professor Rosenblatt serves as Core Faculty in the Religion and Society area in the Graduate Division of Religion and Theological School. He regularly teaches seminars in the College of Liberal Arts. A widely published scholar and in-demand public speaker, Eli is currently at work on a monograph about modern Jewish culture in African Atlantic perspective.
Dr. Eli received his PhD in Jewish Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Frankel Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has taught at Dartmouth College, Northwestern University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, and UC-Berkeley.
