What is my child's email address?

Every child will receive their own academy account that they can use to access school resources.  Email addresses are always your child's "username" followed by academy website address eg: TMA19JaKi@thomasmiddlecott.co.uk

My child has forgotten their Password

Your child can reset their password by going to www.password.dret.cloud, If they can't self-reset then please submit an IT Support request with the following details:

My child does not have a login for a subject website

Please ask your child to login to their emails via the link on secondary.dret.cloud/primary.dret.cloud and email their teacher for further support. 

How can I download a copy of Microsoft Office 365?

All students at DRET academies can download Microsoft Office 365 completely free with their academy account. 

How do I use a Chromebook?

Microsoft Teams

How do I login to Microsoft Teams?

For ease of access and on mobile devices you may wish to utilise the official Microsoft Teams app on Android and iOS.

Google Classroom

How do I use Google Classroom?

For more information on how to use Google Classroom please visit the official Google Classroom Help Centre. There are also plenty of tutorial videos on YouTube you can watch with your child.

My child is unable to see any classes in Google Classroom

Please check that your child is logged into Google Classroom with their academy account as it will not function with personal Google Accounts. 

My child needs a "PIN" or invitation to join a Google Class

Only teachers are able to invite students to a class or provide an invitation code. Please ask your child to login to their emails using the shortcut on secondary.dret.cloud/primary.dret.cloud and send an email to their teacher to request an invite. 

My child's "PIN" for Google Classroom is invalid

Please check that your child is logged into Google Classroom with their academy account, If the PIN code still fails please verify with the teacher that it's correct. The teacher will also have the option to invite students using their academy email which will send them an email invite. 

Student Portal & MCAS

My Child has forgotten their Student Portal login details or password

Microsoft Sign-In

If your academy has opted to use Microsoft Sign-in for Student Portal your child will use the Microsoft Account button on desktop or Magic Link on mobile. In the case your child has forgotten their academy login they should follow the guidance under My child has forgotten their Password.

Stand-alone Logins

If your child has forgotten their stand-alone Student Portal login we recommend using the "Forgotten Details" link to receive a recovery email.
