TODAY'S ACTIVITIES:

#1 9:02-9:42 Thornton (elementary field - one with the fence)

Activity: “Kickball”

Instructions: Use the large red kickball inside the ball cart in the classroom. I typically use the large construction cones as bases.
To make things easier for you and quicker, I typically am the pitcher and let every player kick rather than "playing outs" to guarantee everyone gets a turn to kick.

#2 10:25--11:05 Paproski (classroom)

Activity: “Cone Chase/Circle Racing

Instructions I https://youtu.be/Ba-ckWl_c2I

Students played this last week so will know how to help set up and play.

#3 11:08-11:48 All 2nd grade classes (gymnasium)

Activity: “Relay Races

Instructions: In the far gym hallway (girls hallway), there is a storage area with PE equipment through the first door on the left. Feel free to use anything in there for relay races—items that can be dribbled, kicked, or balanced work great.

There should also be plenty of cones along the white gym wall that you can use for setup.

This is a large group of about 40 students, so I’d recommend teams of at least 5 to help spread everyone out.
