Show Ponies exploded into being in 2019, in a sell-out event hailed by Motif Poetry as “a watershed moment for poetry in performance in Wellington”. This NZYWF, an entirely new line-up of Aotearoa’s most mesmerising live poets will take the stage in outrageous costumes, amongst bright lights, beats and backup dancers. Sinead Overbye (Te Whānau a Kai, Ngāti Porou), Vanessa Mei Crofskey, essa may ranapiri (Ngaati Raukawa, Ngaati Pukeko, Te Arawa, Clan Gunn), and Nathan Joe (Chinese-Kiwi) bring their creative genius to the stable along with your MC for the evening Rebecca Hawkes
