This is my second year as President and third year serving on the PTA Board. I have a 4th grade and 2nd grade student at New Castle who love going to school together. When I am not running my kids to sports and community activities you can find me reading, organizing, and working on planning our next family vacation (we love to travel)! 

I am so excited about the year ahead with the 2023-2024 PTA Board! My hope is to continue to find ways to support the staff at New Castle in everything they do, offer new learning experiences for students, and create space for the dragon community to reconnect after the global pandemic. If you have ideas- we would love to hear from you! 

I wear many hats at New Castle--staff, parent, and now PTA VP of Membership.  As a Teacher Assistant, you may see me when you drop off or pick up your student from school.  I am the proud parent of a current 3rd grade dragon and a former dragon as well.  For the past several years, I have been the PTA Chairperson for both our Arts Contest and our Scholarship Committee.  

I am excited to take on a new role this year with Membership!  Without the support from our members, our PTA would not be as active and influential to our students' success.  Together, we continue to make New Castle "the best school in all of the Beach!"

I am a Navy wife and mother of 3 kids. Hampton Roads has been my home for a combined 12 years [split between three military assignments], and I can't wait to see what the next 10 years of the military may bring. Our family loves to play sports, explore new places, and travel the world.

As I begin my new role as VP of Fundraising, I am eager to learn about all the existing programs and establish new offerings, but most importantly I am looking forward to getting to know everyone. I look forward to the amazing things we will do as a team and how we will grow to meet the needs of our families at New Castle Elementary. 

Hello! I am Amanda and I am excited to embark on our third year as New Castle Dragons, as well as my second full year serving on the PTA. I have served as the VP of fundraising and transitioned this year to the Secretary position. I have one current Dragon and one former Dragon. We love being a part of the supportive community here! 

I am excited to join the PALS team this year, and support early reading in VBCPS. In my free time you can find me hiking and exploring natural parks with my family or making a mess at my sewing/crafting table.  

I am a graduation coach at Bayside High School and I joined the Dragon PTA in 2021/2022 after seeing the amazing ways they support the students and staff at New Castle Elementary. I have a 4th grade student and 1st grade student and who absolutely love learning at the castle. 

After a year as the volunteer liaison I transitioned to the VP of membership and am now in the treasurer position. I'm looking forward to the new opportunity. Aside from the amazing learning environment my favorite part of New Castle has to be the mascot...Go Dragons!

Hi! My name is Stephanie O'Reilly. I am the social media guru for the PTA. I love being involved with New Castle and being able to give back to the school that gives my children so much. 

Teachers, staff, and everyone you come in contact with at New Castle has a smile on their face and a goal to help make the school the best is can be! I love being a part of this community, my 4th grader and 1st grader love their New Castle family and I feel lucky to be able to give back.
