Anatomy and Physiology

Welcome to Honors Anatomy and Physiology! In this Honors level elective course we will be learning the different parts of the body and how they function. Students will be assessed through classwork, labs, quizzes, and tests. There will be a cumulative final exam at the end of the year. Students with an A and less than three absences or a B and less than two absences may be exempt from the final exam. Students should know that every three tardies count as an absence for the final exam. While there will not be homework to turn in for this class, students should be studying and practicing at least 15 minutes every day.

Daily announcements and additional course resources can be found on the CANVAS site, which can be accessed by current students and parents.

Required Materials: Three Ring Binder, Composition Notebook, Loose Leaf Paper, Colored Pencils (at least 12 different colors), Highlighters (3 colors of your choice), Glue Stick

Quarter 1- Introduction to the Human Body, Histology, Integumentary System, Skeletal System

Quarter 2- Muscular System, Special Senses, Cardiovascular System, Digestive System
