Remote Learning

Hello Viking Families!

Welcome to Semester 2 of Virtual School! We hope everyone is ready to start with focus and determination to make it better than the first semester. We miss our scholars is so much! We anxiously await the time when we can walk the hallways of Lowe’s Grove, wishing students a wonderful day, seeing our excellent staff engaging with students and colleagues, visiting classrooms, lunch duty, and so much more. We miss football, cheerleading, band, drumline dance and drummers, and chorus. We miss the way school used to be, but we realize we can still provide our students with a good education in a virtual setting. Thanks to all parents for making sure students are in class on time every day to learn.

We are doing things this quarter to keep the spirits alive with virtual celebrations and events:

The Grove Newsletter

Wellness Wednesday Activities

Virtual Curriculum Nights

Virtual Magnet Fair

Virtual Spirit Week

Quarter Virtual Academic Awards

Our Remote Learning Tips for Parents:

  1. Set a schedule. Have students check into their classes 5-10 minutes early to ensure they do not miss valuable instruction.

  2. Make sure students have materials readily available to complete all assignments.

  3. Provide an environment conducive to learning.

  4. Make sure all work is complete for each class.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone continue to excel during Quarter 2.
