Hillside High School’s Battle of the Books 2025-2026
If you would like to join a team of readers, this is your chance to read and test your knowledge of 16 books against your team members and other high schools in our district. If you join our team, you will be responsible for reading at least 8 of the 16 books on the High School Battle of the Books (HBOB) list to compete at the district-wide competition. Since the answers to the questions are always the title of one of the 16 books and its author, you will need to memorize each title and author. The DPS High School Battle of the Books will be held during the school day on Friday, February 27th, 2026.
