What do your dues support?

Why join?

Your contribution invests in your child's community school, Githens, and supports not just your child and their teachers but everyone who is at the school. It shows your commitment to helping everyone and together all GMS contributions are able to do amazing things for our students and staff. Your annual dues support school wide initiatives to increase family and student engagement in learning and to support celebrations and whole school events. We hold monthly meetings on the 3rd Monday.

PTA Purpose

The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
