"Whether organic or conventionally grown, fruits and vegetables are critical components of a healthy diet," said EWG (Environmental Working Group) toxicologist Thomas Galligan, PhD, in the release. "We urge consumers who are concerned about their pesticide intake to consider, when possible, purchasing organically grown version of the foods on EWG's Dirty dozen; or conventional produce from our Clean Fifteen."
EWG says "most pesticide residues the USDA find fall within government-mandated restrictions. But legal limits aren't always safe."
the EPA's safety levels, called tolerances, help agency regulators determine whether farmers are applying pesticides properly. if tolerance levels were set to protect all children eating produce, as EWG believes they should be, more fruits and vegetables would fail to meet them."

Learning at home through virtual lessons is the focal point of this website. Lesson plans and links to various physical activities and sports games will be embedded into this effort of getting children in motion for sixty minutes every day. The purpose of the website is to provide parents and students with information about our Physical Education program in general as well as "Walk To School (Walk-A-Thon)", Kids Heart Challenge, and Field Day. Additionally, this site is intended to actively engage students and parents in finding video clips of appropriate skill development, nutritional links and community activities.
Every attempt is made to reduce the anxieties that may exist in children with disabilities, thus, practical strategies will be employed during this inclusionary process. Student will experience specific activities and initiatives which will provide and promote self-confidence/self-esteem, better communication skills, leadership skills and better group problem-solving and decision-making skills. Students are taught character education in an effort to enhance mutual support and respect while preparing them with the skills necessary to be better team players in various sports activities. All activities and lessons are aligned with State and National Physical Education Standards.
