Bighorn sheep live in the Western mountain regions of North America, ranging from Southern Canada to Mexico. Their steep mountainous habitat, with ledges sometimes only 2 inches (5 centimeters) wide, provides cover from predators such as coyotes, golden eagles, mountain lions, bears, and canada lynx.
