Welcome to Theatre 1!

Your role is to engage in the FUN! This means watching, listening, doing, and thinking. You don't have to be great at everything, but you do have to TRY!

You will figure out what Theatre is and what difference it makes to you and the world. It'll be fun, active, and different. EnJOY the journey!

What is Theatre 1?

Theatre 1 is the most basic Theatre class at Northfield High School. No prerequisites needed besides an open mind. In Theatre 1, you will begin semester 1 by focusing on Body, Voice, and Mind. These are things you do every single day, however, we will learn how to intentionally use these things to tell a story. Also known as.. ACTING!! Theatre 1 is a fun and easy way to express your creative self and try out the beautiful art of Theatre. No pressure, just fun. Who knows what you will learn about yourself?
