Read-a-Thon 2025!!
Greetings Polaris Community,
The 2025 Read-a-Thon is right around the corner and we are so excited to kick off our school-wide celebration of reading and fundraiser! We know that our Polaris Stars are avid readers and what better way to raise critical funds for our school than by engaging in something we all love!
This year, our featured text is The Good Egg by our featured author Jory John. It is a story that helps us appreciate our differences and how they make us special.
On 2/7/25, we will kick off our Read-a-Thon will a school-wide read aloud of The Good Egg.
Fund Raising
Our school-wide goal is to read for 285,000 minutes and raise $60,000 between Feb. 7th and 23th! We exceeded our target last year, and are optimistic that we will be able to do it again!
Each Polaris student has their own Read-a-thon fundraising webpage through 99pledges. Links were sent to your inbox this Thursday, February 7th. (If you did not see the email, please be sure to check your spam or promotions folder.) Your personalized link can be shared with friends, aunts and uncles, grandparents, neighbors, etc. Donors will have the option to contribute a flat amount or donate a selected amount per minute read.
As a school we will track minutes read and dollars earned and we will be sure to report our progress!

Spirit Week
We will also be hosting a school-wide SPIRIT WEEK that coincides with our Read-a-Thon fundraiser. We encourage all students to participate in the FUN! Below your will find the spirit week schedule of events.
