Action Research and Data Resources

PDUs are a unique form of professional development in that they merge theory with practice through action research. In addition to learning about evidence-based ideas and methods to improve one's practice, PDUs also involve the application of this learning in real time, and the tracking of student and participant growth resulting from the applied learning. This requires the collection of meaningful and practical data throughout the PDU. A clear plan for collecting evidence of student and participant growth throughout the PDU is vital to the action research process.
